ABOUT ERIN

Erin Rose Solorio (She/her/hers) is an actor, choreographer, and director. Erin grew up in California’s Bay Area, where she began dance classes at age two and fell in love with it! Erin enjoys all styles of dance, but for hiphop she specifically enjoys popping. After taking voice lessons, acting lessons, and performing in musicals, she found her passion. Erin graduated magna cum laude with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Rider University. She has enjoyed performing in regional/professional productions, along with choreographing and directing shows. A few of her favorite credits are Sally Bowles in Cabaret (6th Street Playhouse), Vanessa in In the Heights (Lewis Family Playhouse), Sandra in The Play That Goes Wrong (San Francisco Playhouse), and Lois u/s Diana & Val in A Chorus Line (San Francisco Playhouse). That production of A Chorus Line won Best Ensemble in the Bay Area from Broadway World in 2024, won Best Ensemble in a Musical from the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle, and won for Entire Production from the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle. Erin was a nominee for Best Performer in a Musical in the Bay Area from Broadway World in 2022 for her performance of Sally Bowles in Cabaret. She is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association!

Erin believes advocacy and compassion to be important and feels fortunate to perform. Erin is proudly Latina and part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Erin loves Carlos Santana’s music, her yellow VW buggy named Big Bird, and (Eggo) blueberry waffles! 🧇
